Space Garden 0.2.0
Welcome to the second big update for Space Garden!
Sometimes you work on a project you're passionate about, and sometimes your passion isn't enough to carry you. And sometimes you think about that project you put down and think "hey that was really cool, maybe i should take another look?"
After 3 years of not touching my Space Garden project, I came back to work on it! I absolutely love this game concept, and it's so much fun to work on. Building an entire AI system for phase 2 was awesome, and now looking at long run potential in phase 3 is an interesting progression for the game. If you haven't tried the game yet, (which is 99.9% of you), welcome! enjoy! For the 0.1% of you that actually care about updates, here's what is improved!
New Features
- Added Tier 3 Skills
- Added an Upgrade Hub to Tier 3
- Added several new buildings and Crawler types for Tier 3 only
- Added a very minimalist tutorial
- Added simple "Sandbox Mode" for if you beat Tier 4.
Fixes / Improvements
- Fixed some bugs related to Crawler AI
- Added colors to the sidebar
- Improved highlight logic
- Improved in game text
- Standardized naming and vocabulary for different elements
Balance Changes
- Made fruits functional in Tier 1 without crawlers
- All skills will also provide a negative
- Improved and rebalanced certain T2 skills
- Adjusted costs and pacing of T1 skills
Infrastructure Changes
- Upgraded to PIXI 7.x
- Lots of refactors!
